The seven-time Fitness Model of the Year who won four Mr. Universe titles has been known to be one of the finest bodybuilders who has minutely studied the science behind the sport. He not only started his bodybuilding journey at a young age, but managed to maintain his physique through exercises from his yesteryears.

Mike O’Hearn believes in the process which yields results and that’s why he still uses one of the routines from the very beginning of his teenage days. What’s more? The bodybuilder maintains his ever-youthful physique, even at the age of 54, with only a basic workout routine.

In one of the recent YouTube short videos, O’Hearn reflected on his old day workout for biceps, which he still follows with much discipline. Despite being a basic workout, the Titan listed down all the exercises he religiously follows. He noted, “Did curls to start with straight bar curls, and easy curl bar, and then we did some seated inclines and now we are doing some old school preachers, it’s just basic.”

Furthermore, he emphasized how the beginning of this routine started when he started his bodybuilding journey, only at the age of thirteen. He recalled, “This is a basic workout I did when I was 13, and it still works today.”

O’Hearn’s techniques for perfect biceps growth were also acknowledged by one of the finest WWE stars when the latter wanted to improve his lifts.

O’Hearn’s technique was appreciated by WWE star

Paul Wight, popularly known as The Giant, once was reported to have been training with the former Mr. Universe Mike O’Hearn. After going through his rigorous training methods, The Giant could not restrict himself from praising the Titan. He said, “One of the best biceps exercises I have ever done”. He also added, “I thought he was screwing me like this is some pretty boy exercise.”

O’Hearn tries his best to maintain his physique and he excels at it defying all the natural difficulties of aging. Now that he has revealed his bicep routine to be almost as old as his fitness career, the community understands the significance of it. As he continues to improve on his physique, the bodybuilder thus proved that no one should neglect their old effective ways.
