“Twins!”: Oscar Winner Mel Gibson Posing Alongside 57-Yo Bodybuilding Veteran Draws Outrageous Remarks From Fitness Community

Hollywood and the bodybuilding industry have an enduring relationship with many crossovers. The action genre has witnessed many actors bulking or getting ripped to achieve a menacing look. Oscar winner Mel Gibson (for Braveheart) is one such actor who has achieved a muscular look in many of his movies.

Recently, the Braveheart actor posed for a photo with bodybuilding legend, IFFB pro, and coach Milos Sarcev. The Instagram post made by Sarcev was an instant hit among both Gibson’s and Sarcev’s fans. It resulted in a flurry of hilarious and endearing comments. Both actors have a huge fan following.

At first look, the picture is simple enough. Two senior gentlemen posing together. But fans will say it is one of the most precious gifts a fan of bodybuilding can have. Gibson made the Mad Max movie one of the most iconic franchises of our times set in the dystopian future. Before Mad Max, Gibson was a relatively unknown face. Even the budget of the movie was not huge. However, the movie catapulted the Oscar winner to the world stage. It is for this reason Milos Sarcev captioned this photo “MAD MAX!!! ”

During his golden days, the Serbian bodybuilder was famous for staying in shape all year round. He has appeared in almost 72 pro competitions. After competing, the ‘Mind’ has become one of the greatest names in fitness coaching. He has trained the likes of Flex Wheeler and, more recently, Marcello De Angelis and Samson Dauda.

Under the tutelage of Mr. Universe 1989, Dauda cemented his victory in this year’s Arnold Classic Championship. Sarcev is credited with bringing back the Arnold-like physique and flowing, posing style. Looks like the Serbian legend has no intentions of slowing down. Fans are not complaining at all. Mel Gibson’s contribution to cinema and Sarcev’s to bodybuilding will inspire many people to do their best. These legends will never be forgotten.
