Dave Palumbo was one of the best bodybuilding champions of his time. He debuted in 1990 in the NPC national competition and went on to win the 1995 NPC junior nationals. The bodybuilder also became an editor-in-chief for Muscle Development Magazine before turning his venture into a YouTube career. And he recently admitted to taking synthol to enhance his muscles. 

The retired bodybuilder revealed an anecdote from his life about using synthol and selling it as well. His honest confession was done by him in the latest YouTube video from his channel. Let’s see what he had to say.

Dave Palumbo talks about his experience with Synthol

The retired bodybuilder recently revealed the fact that he used Synthol during his prime for probably six years and preferred the Chris Clark products more than anything. Dave Palumbo even revealed the fact that it did increase his muscles by two inches at least and did not cause any health problems. He also said, “Used to sell the Chris Clark painless pumps. I used it probably from 98 to 04?”

Palumbo said the more synthol a bodybuilder used, the more muscle they would gain and it caused a localized nutrient partitioning inside the system. This happened because he was hyperfeeding the muscle in that localized area. According to research and MRI studies, it showed that there was real muscle  growing inside the body.

Despite taking the enhancement oil and luckily not falling sick, Palumbo still went through a phase where he experienced a heart attack and almost cheated death. This makes him a bodybuilding legend who is scared of his mortality and he even talked about this previously.

Despite living a more or less healthy lifestyle since he is a bodybuilding champion, Dave Palumbo had to undergo heart surgeries to treat his blockage. However, this incident left a huge impression on his life. He had once revealed that his biggest fear was going to the hospital and getting heart surgery.

The 55-year-old also described that he expected to go inside the hospital and wake up surprised and think that everything was great but then someone would come up to him and say that he was dead. Palumbo recalled, “I was afraid of that, I was like, oh, I’m gonna wake up, I’m gonna be f****ng dead, I won’t even know it.”
