The Flex Weekend Pro had four pro bodybuilding divisions and open bodybuilding was the most anticipated. Open bodybuilding was the smallest division at the contest with 12 competitors. However, that didn’t mean it wasn’t competitive. Fans were excited to witness bodybuilding veterans Nathan De Asha and Behrooz Tabani battle for their Mr. Olympia spot.

Tabani and De Asha immediately drew everyone’s attention. While they stood out among the competition, judges struggled to choose the winner between the evenly matched duo. However, Behrooz Tabani’s muscle fullness and conditioning earned him the victory. While Nathan De Asha arguably had the better lower body, he couldn’t match the Iranian’s upper body fullness or conditioning. While Tabani couldn’t win in Spain, he earned his third consecutive Olympia qualification in Italy.
