In his recent newsletter edition, the Austrian Oak revealed where he learned his early morning habits that paved the way for his success. Preaching about making time for training, Schwarzenegger becomes candid about the importance of an early morning routine.

The world has shifted its sleep patterns since the advent of mobile phones. Waking up late at night has become a routine, making people forgo the bliss of the early mornings. However, Arnie stresses the importance of waking up early in the morning in his Newsletter. “Nobody can derail my day in the morning,” he says.
The Governator credits his icon, Reg Park, for narrating the importance of early mornings when he was 20. In 1968, Park invited Arnold Schwarzenegger to South Africa, and the Hercules icon used to wake up the Austrian Oak in the morning. “I have to admit it was a little bit of a shock treatment when he woke me up at 5 in the morning,” the Terminator icon confessed.
“But it worked,” Arnie added, and adhered to the same ritual ever since. So, sharing the story with his village, Schwarzenegger stressed prioritizing early mornings for oneself, before the mad rush of the world creeps in. Earlier, the 76-year-old confessed his desire to make his early morning routine his fitness legacy.

The Governator lived a life that is irreplicable. His success and aura made him unique in the history books, as his legacy will shine in bodybuilding, films, and politics. But Schwarzenegger wants his fans to remember him only for his early morning workout regimen.

The Austrian Oak’s life revolved around building and maintaining a ripped physique for his bodybuilding career and movies. So, the bodybuilding icon once revealed, “There’s a certain energy in the gym that we used to have.” He desires that his tribe “feel that joy.”
