Joseph Baena, the son of seven-time Mr. Olympia Arnold Schwarzenegger, is not only similar to his father in looks but also in physique. The DJ and real estate boss does not compromise on his bodybuilding capabilities, even if he does not compete on stage. Often seen getting his workout with influential bodybuilders, he shows his prowess on social media as well.
Recently, Joseph collaborated with 4-time Mr. Universe, Mike O’Hearn, and both crushed their arm workout day. Mike gave valuable advice as a veteran in bodybuilding, strongman, and arm wrestling. While making their biceps grow bigger together, they also got to chat on various topics.

O’Hearn and Baena are known to work out with each other very often, and Mike had also witnessed Arnold Schwarzenegger’s career. Now he is watching his son and hopes to teach Baena some lessons in the gym to help unlock his superior genetics.
While doing the dumbbell seated overhead triceps exercise, O’Hearn explained the direct power that the bodybuilder has on the contraction movement. He also said that it was better than a triceps machine. The dumbbell seated overhead gives all the freedom to the athlete. During this, the duo discussed how genetics plays a significant role in creating the perfect body.
O’Hearn stated that when he was in his youth, he could follow the leg work out of legendary Tom Platz, who was known for his quads. Young O’Hearn thought that following the same workout would give him legs like Platz. Mike finally explained, “I train with Tom Platz; he was the first training partner I got to California. I trained with him for years. I did not get his legs.” So, this ultimately means that doing the same exercise will not get the same results for everyone because of different genetics.
To this, Baena replied, “You always give and take what really you feel the best doing.” Mike O’Hearn still encourages everyone to try and be brutal because “Genetic gifts are genetic gifts, but still attempt it. Still doing what you’re doing; still try.” Joseph Baena might follow in his father’s footsteps and unlock his genetics, but the father-son duo is pretty competitive with each other.

Baena wants to try out multiple things, but when it comes to challenges, his father has been the boss. Baena mentioned how they would compete with each other, but not in bodybuilding.
