Kerry Washington reveals her eating disorder

In her latest interview with Good Morning America, Kerry Washington revealed various aspects of her life. Among so many other things, she emphasized something often overlooked in most discussions. She talked about the very deep-rooted elements of eating disorders which will be available in her upcoming book that will be released on 26th September. She recalled, “My relationship with food and my body had become a toxic cycle of self-abuse that utilized the tools of starvation, binge eating, body obsession, and compulsive exercise”.

She also shed light on the fact that the disorder had driven her to binge eat for days on end. The toxic habit had made her life exceptionally hard. She stated, “secretly binge eating for days at a time, often to the point of physical pain, sometimes to the point of passing out”.

Washington supported Serena Williams after a US Open incident

The Golden Globe-nominated actor had once supported Serena Williams after an incident that happened at the US Open. She commented on the unjust fine on both the players in the match, Williams and Naomi Osaka. She stated, ?I think what happened to Serena is such a travesty, both of those girls. I feel like they were both robbed of the joy of what that day could have really been.?
