Nick Walker thinks ego is the biggest villain in play

Nick Walker recently took to his official Instagram account and shared a video in between his workout sessions. As the video begins, he says, “I think a lot of times, people are too worried about their ego.” He goes on to state how several bodybuilders get into the gym and start lifting heavy.

They do this because they think it makes them look cool. Taking the example from his initial days of training, he stated that he too used to do the same thing. Back when he used to lift 405 lbs, he had no conditioning in his body. However, now that he has realized it, he refrains from repeating the same mistake.

Nick Walker now focuses on building contraction rather than just lifting heavy weights. He said, “Now I do 225. I somewhat have a chest now.” The Mutant recently even shared one of the key secrets to getting one step closer to having a physique as aesthetic as he has managed to craft.

Nick Walker highlights the importance of making every set count

Nick Walker shared a black and white silhouette picture of himself, flexing his legs in the gym. He used the picture as an opportunity to tell his followers that every set from the first to the last is equally important. He advised the gym goers to clear their minds before hitting the first set. He added that it is utterly important to think about nothing other than the set while performing it.

Walker wrote, Focus in on that set only, focus on the execution only, no time to waste.”  He concluded by saying that while you are working on a particular muscle group, it is important that you put 100% of your focus and concentration on it.
