Jay Cutler has an unprecedented muscular physique, which is a primary reason for his flexing around the sweet fruit of his hard work. While at the gym or on several social media posts, Cutler’s shirt seems extremely tight, displaying his completely ripped physique. Although it is something that the athlete is proud of, he recently answered the question once and for all.
The 8X Mr. Olympia champion and the 3x Arnold Classic champion recently took to his Instagram and shared a video where he was seen explaining the reason behind his peculiar fashion choices. Cutler begins the video by saying, “The reason why my shirt’s too small is because I’m too big okay.”
It is a short Instagram story where he further adds, “So all you guys out there that think too small it’s because I’m too damn big.” Well, in contradiction to his pride, Cutler initially had no intentions of getting big. However, as he entered the professional world of fitness, his sole goal made him build his beastly physical attire.
Why did Jay Cutler have to get big?
The bodybuilding Giant once revealed that ‘it wasn’t his goal’ to get big. However, he had to do it to beat his biggest on-stage rival, the King of bodybuilding – Ronnie Coleman. He said, “I want to be competitive.” Jay Cutler had only one goal back then – beating the then-reigning champion, and that was what forced him to build his mammoth-sized physique.

Before Cutler stepped onto the professional stage, Ronnie Coleman was his idol, however, coming behind The King every year and bagging the second position in the Mr. Olympia champion, made Coleman Cutler’s biggest rival. After acquiring his huge physique, the now 8x Mr. Olympia champion was finally able to beat his idol-turned-rival for the first time on stage, and this is his proudest moment in the entire span of his career.
