The 25-year marriage ended that year, following their official divorce in 2021. To help with the healing, the journalist reached a convent and sat in silence, looking for answers and peace. She even had a brief conversation with the Reverend Mother, who encouraged her to be brave while Shirver wept uncontrollably.
