2023 has introduced a new strongman to the world. The 27-year-old Mitchell Hooper won this year’s World’s Strongest Man contest beating 29 competitors from 14 different countries. He also won Arnold Strongman Classic this year, which added him as the 4th athlete to the list of Strongmen who managed to win both events.
Giving another testimony to his power, the 6’3’’ giant pulled off a stunt that left the CrossFit athlete Mathew Fraser bewildered. After witnessing the ease with which Hooper finished the task, Fraser went on to reveal his failure at the task earlier in his career.

In the post shared on his Instagram, Hooper was seen lifting and flipping a 660 lbs PIG. He captioned the post, “The CrossFit GOAT @mathewfras reliving the first time the pig was in the CrossFit games – 2015 – as a surprise event.”
The video later showed an amazed Fraser shaking his head after Hooper finished the task. He later described the first time such a task was introduced in CrossFit games. “In 2015 the first time we had these. The guy in second place won the event. This thing destroyed me,” he said showing the PIG.

The video also had a snippet where Fraser was seen trying to flip the weighted PIG. Appreciation from a veteran in the sport is always encouraging. And Hooper’s strength is well-appreciated by Fraser this time. Earlier, the reigning Strongman revealed the diet formula that helps him to balance his physique and joy.

It seems like the strongman is training hard for upcoming events and his recent feat suggests that he is only focused on improving himself.
