In a recent video uploaded by Joey Swoll on his Instagram account, he showcased a clip of a woman who was seen doing a workout in the gym while seemingly hindering the cleaning staff from completing their duty. As one watches the video, it becomes apparent that the gymgoer was mocking the staff, with a caption that said, “Y’all remember the cleaning lady lmao I can’t make this up.”
This act did not sit well with the fitness influencer. Making his thoughts known, he said, “Videos like these really pi** me off.”
Elaborating further on the treatment meted out to gym cleaners, he added, “I’m sick and tired of seeing the cleaning staff be disrespected in gyms and treated this way. They deserve nothing but our appreciation and respect.”

Swoll criticized the woman further and said, “I’m sorry. I can’t believe that you’re a grown woman that doesn’t know better than to make fun of a cleaning lady for doing her job, acting as if you’re better than her.” He also had some advice for her behavior as well, imploring her to wait till the cleaning staff finished their job before hitting a set. “Be a human being. Talk to her. Say, excuse me, would you mind waiting to clean until I finish my set?” Swoll said in anger.
This is not the first time that Swoll has criticized gymgoers for their behavior. Earlier, he had called out another woman for filming those in the gym without their consent.

Joey Swoll doesn’t want people to be seen as “accessories” for social media content
Last month, Swoll lambasted a woman for shooting others in her video, while she was engaging in her workout. He also wrote a caption that said, “Stop filming others without their consent in the gym. Leave people alone or STAY HOME,” giving the gymgoer a drastic rebuke for her actions. Swoll believes that zooming in on people and making them the subject of the video without their knowledge is unacceptable.
