The Twitter video showed him getting teary-eyed while talking about this incident. Swoll was “12 or 13” years old when he participated in a baseball tournament, and his mother accompanied him to the competition. The tournament had the best teams and was one of the most prestigious tournaments. However, Swoll confessed,??It is the worst field in the city. It is beat up, broken down. It is horrible.? The teams that were playing against each other were Swoll?s team which had primarily white children, and the opponent team had Latin American and black American kids. Swoll?s mother is Irish and was not sitting between the banter of the parents who were fighting about race.

While playing, a black American kid from the opposite team, hurt his ankle on a hole in the field, and his ankle broke. He was screaming with pain and not one single parent according to Swoll, came down to the area to help him. The tournament came to a halt, and suddenly he saw his mother running towards the kid. She was the only parent to help him out.

Swoll narrated that his mother, ?Runs out there, helps the kid up, carries him off the field, and she sat with him on the sideline, got up a snow cone, some ice, called the ambulance for him.??
