Ronnie Coleman recently took to his official YouTube channel and shared a video where he is seen having a candid discussion with the World’s Strongest Man, Brian Shaw. They discuss their journey into the world of the sport. As the video gradually proceeds, Shaw asks the King about the pay that he got from Olympia.
To this he states how it was a really big thing for him. All he did was train and compete with other bodybuilders and he would get paid for that. He said, “Pretty much it was kind of like this is big money here.” The prize money was what motivated Ronnie Coleman to get better at bodybuilding.

When asked whether he ever imagined that he would be at a point where nobody else could beat him, he replied that the first time he won the title of Mr. Olympia, he wanted to win it again the next year. And this kept on repeating every year and it became his only goal.

But well, it was no pressure for him at all. He said, “It was just wanting to win.
