“This Behavior Explains a Lot”: Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Daughter Blames Father’s 35-Year-Old Habit for Her Unusual Urge

Hollywood actor  Arnold Schwarzenegger‘s fans have seen his many sides, on and off the screen. Though Arnie has an image of a macho bodybuilder and an action hero, his funny side is something not many people know of. Arnold has a habit of joking around and pranking his co-stars and friends. And a recent video that surfaced on Instagram is proof of that. The video demonstrates Schwarzenegger jumping in and scaring the FUBAR cast. However, this habit of Arnold dates back to 1988, when he was working on the film, Twins. 

Arnold began with his pranking escapades after his co-actor, Danny Devito gave him headaches with his antics, and the two have never stopped pulling each other’s legs ever since. Interestingly, there is more to the story. The bodybuilding legend’s daughter, Katherine, took the opportunity to make a hilarious confession while sharing her father’s recent feat on her Instagram. She added a brief note that explains her alikeness with Schwarzenegger.

Following the 75-year-old legend’s post in collaboration with Netflix surfaced on the platform, Katherine didn’t miss the chance to reveal that the “behavior” runs in their family. She shared the video while adding that her father’s actions iterate the author’s personal urge to trick people with similar practical jokes. 

“This behavior explains a lot about my desire to always prank and scare people,” she wrote in her Instagram story, as her father introduced himself while being dressed up as a huge green bush. In the video, Arnie could be heard, saying, “Hey, I’m Arnold Schwarzenegger and today I’m gonna prank the cast of FUBAR!”

In the video, the 6’2 actor applied two of his pranks on his co-stars, also featuring her on-screen daughter, Monica Barbaro. The first one displayed him hiding behind the FUBAR banner as the others got ready for an interview. As the countdown starts, Schwarzenegger barges in smashing the poster, attempting to scare the stars. In the following bush prank, although the co-stars anticipated a similar feat, they ended up getting scared. Speaking of that, even Arnie was once caught up in pranks by his former co-star and good friend, Devito.

In an interview, Schwarzenegger once recalled a prank by the 78-year-old American comedian and actor. While on the set of Twins, the latter messed with Arnie’s cigars and slipped some mari*uana into them. As a result, the IFBB pro went blank and forgot all his lines after smoking one. Owing to his long experience in the film industry, forgetting lines wasn’t ideal. 

Later, Arnie felt grateful that the director was Ivan Reitman and not James Cameron. Because had it been him, the two would have been in serious trouble, given the Academy-award-winning director’s work ethic.
