Jeff Nippard might look very young and also might look like he’s a new bodybuilding sensation, but he is not only an athlete but a scientist and researcher. He claims to be a natural bodybuilder and has already imparted his knowledge to his fan base via social media. The 32-year-old not only shows his fitness videos on YouTube and the Internet but recently he has crossed a huge milestone in his life.
His first official scholarly research paper was published recently and it was a scientific study that answered the question of what is optimal training technique. Let’s see what he had to say on this topic.

The 32-year-old bodybuilder uploaded a video talking about his scientific study that was published recently and expressed his excitement for the same. He explained the optimal training process in the video and said, “My first scientific study was officially published and it answers the question of what is optimal training technique. Here is what we found out first range of motion is the most important factor. You need to use a range of motion that gets the muscle, fully stretched. You can do that by using a full range of motion with a deep stretch or by using long-length partials.”

He further explained, “The second thing we found was the optimal lifting tempo. Each step you do should last 2 to 8 seconds.” By this, he basically explained that the rep could be done for either a second positive and one second negative to a 1 second positive to a seven-second negative. “The specific tempo doesn’t seem to matter as much as simply controlling the negative and not just letting the weight free-fall,” he said.

Finally, he ended the explanation by talking about his next venture on a scientific paper, “And cheat reps do seem like a bad idea but according to him, there is no study that compares ego, lifting to strict form lifting yet because he’s also going to make a study on that for his next venture.”
