The 13-year-old posted an update on his 100-day bicep curls challenge in his recent post. “Day 36 of doing a split biceps,” wrote the boy as he did set after set of traditional hammer curls with a pair of dumbbells. However, curls aren’t the only exercise the kid has been focusing on. While his fitness goal is to lose weight, he also desires to build muscle.
So Eli Spencer does other exercises like dumbbell chest press, barbell bench press, and more. While he isn’t doing everything right, the kid is learning as he goes. One follower explained the principle of progressive overload. “Try to do at least 8 repetitions. When you reach 10/12 repetitions increase the weight and go back to 8 repetitions,” commented one follower. “You’re strong!! Keep with the hard work, kid!” added the Instagram user. “Noticing progress bro,” wrote one follower.
