A study by the Pavlov First Saint Petersburg State Medical University researchers on 550 men who regularly attended the gym found that around 30.4% of people used PEDs. However, the surprising factor was that 70.2% of these went about engaging in usage, despite having knowledge of its side effects. Many newcomers on the path of fitness are attracted to these substances and the IFBB Pro coach Greg Doucette recently shed light upon a similar situation he had come across.

Doucette recently uploaded a video on his Instagram featuring a nineteen-year-old boy using juice for muscle growth. The IFBB Pro bashed the nineteen-year-old kid, emphasizing what he thought was a mistake by the youngster.

Doucette thinks the young gymgoer should have stayed natural

The video showcased the gymgoer from six months ago when he used to be natural. He had a great physique and good aesthetics for a natural bodybuilder. But later on, he decided to get started on juice, which led to a drastic transformation. Of course, he had visible changes. However, Doucette questioned the necessity of being on PEDs from such a young age.

Doucette recalled the boy’s age and rebuked, “He’s 19. He’s got newbie gains; he can very easily grow muscle. He has naturally great aesthetics. And so he could have remained 100% natural and continued to put on muscle year after year.”

The IFBB Pro coach highlighted that the 19-year-old’s body was not responding well to ster**ds. “His body is telling him in braille to perhaps stop, to maybe think a little,” Doucette said. He then explained, “If you’re at 19 years of age and you have to use Accutane to combat the negative side effects of ster**ds, do you really think you should continue?” This is not the first time the IFBB Pro has called out someone for using PEDs. Earlier, he gave his advice to another young bodybuilding enthusiast.

Always choose life,” says the IFBB Pro coach

In another YouTube video, Doucette shared his valuable insights on David J Rau’s testosterone usage. The IFFB Pro coach suspects Rau of using fake testosterone from a local convenience store. The 43-year-old IFFB Pro strictly prohibits his audience from using PEDs without any doctor’s consultation.

Rau had a near-death moment in his journey of using TRT, and Doucette highlighted, “My experience tells me this: If you are worried, if it’s a matter of life and death, always choose life. Choose life if you’re not sure what’s happening.” He continued, “You did an injection; perhaps you don’t have the fever, but you have some serious swelling going on; perhaps you have an infection; you don’t know what to do about it; go and seek medical help.

The IFBB Pro always encourages his audience to stay away from using any kind of PED. Even if you want to jump on juice, wait for the right time, have a proper consultation with your doctor, and use only prescribed products, like Doucette advises.
