To be a bodybuilder and a devotee of fitness, one needs to shape their lifestyle in a way that is strikingly disciplined and restrictive. At length, it might even seem like one would have to drive out all the fun from their lives. Paul Bryson, an internet influencer shed light upon this facet of the fitness world in one of his recent videos.
Bryson pointed out how the distinction of lifestyles is something that helps distinguish between mediocrity and improvement. He laid bare how a person who strives to change and improve themselves wouldn’t have much in common with others and might often get subjected to ridicule from others.

In one of his recent Instagram reels, the Mind and Body coach talked about lifestyle differences. He brought about the fact that people will be looked at differently if they refuse to go drinking or have a puff from “blunts.” The influencer also talked about the fact that many who are trying to change their lifestyles are often perceived as crazy. He exclaimed, “And all of a sudden they are looking at you like you are crazy.” According to him, this is often done by people who think that without alcohol, junk food, and a casual lifestyle, one cannot have fun.

Pointing out how people looking to improve on themselves will have a lifestyle different from 99% of the population, he also called for them to pay no heed to naysayers. “Don’t engage with individuals who think there’s something wrong with you trying to be the best fu**ing you. See, those people are only going to hold you down and keep you stuck,” he said.
The thought process that Bryson promotes is not something restricted to youngsters. When individuals realize the importance of bringing change to their lives, no matter their age, they end up doing it. Monica Bousquet is one such person.

In one of her Instagram posts, 61-year-old Monica Bousquet stated how she regretted not changing her lifestyle earlier. She said, “The process of lifestyle change is gradual, and one thing leads to another. You decide to make a change, improve your diet, gain more energy, and strengthen both your body and mind.”

No matter what, a lifestyle change requires lots of dedication, discipline, and motivation to execute. It can often mean, as Bryson pointed out, an exclusion from what society usually expects one to engage in. But many still continue to push through, to ensure that their lives have changed for the good.
