With 3.4 million subscribers on YouTube alone, Jesse James West is among the biggest bodybuilding and fitness content creators on the internet. However, his most recent video is an example of why West became so popular. The competitive bodybuilder came up with a unique idea of reviewing home gyms belonging to millionaires. However, there was a catch.

The bodybuilder explained that he went around asking random millionaires about reviewing their home gym. Now going up to strangers and asking them questions or pranking them is nothing new. However, unlike most creators, Jesse James West didn’t stage the video, showing just how frustrating convincing random strangers can be. In fact, he got kicked out of one neighborhood.

The endeavor took Jesse James West weeks to film

The bodybuilder decided to review one home gym each from $1 million, $5 million, and $10 million neighborhoods. Jesse James West and his cameraman drove to a neighborhood with million-dollar houses and started ringing doorbells. However, he had no luck. In between showing footage of people turning him away, the classic physique competitor explained his frustration.

However, one saving grace was the people he interacted with behaved politely. Yet that would change in one neighborhood. One man closed the door after saying he wasn’t interested in West’s proposal. However, as he walked to his car, the man reappeared and warned the bodybuilding influencer. “Listen if you go around this neighborhood… they will call the police,” said the man.

“Don’t go (around) in this neighborhood. There’s no soliciting. In fact, can you please leave?” demanded the man. The YouTuber politely said, “Yes sir,” walked to his car, and drove away. However, after hours of searching and getting kicked out of one neighborhood, West finally found someone who agreed to let him in.

The bodybuilding influencer ultimately succeeded

Jesse James West found a man named Brian Kelly, who agreed to let him review his home gym. James discovered a fully decked-out home gym. Interestingly, the gym had LaCrosse jerseys, and West found out that during his LaCrosse days, he played against members of Brian Kelley’s family. The bodybuilding influencer had reached his first goal for the video.

Things got even harder in the $5 million neighborhood. However, the bodybuilder fortunately found an open house (for protective buyers) with a gym. While reviewing the gym, the owner, Angela, walked in and was incredibly friendly toward West. The real estate agent even worked out with West and pointed him to an acquaintance who owned a $15 million house. The owners, Tracy, and her husband, were more than happy to help West.

By the end of the video, West succeeded in his goal. However, the bodybuilding influencer landed in serious trouble in the process.
