The sport of bodybuilding has inspired and attracted many individuals from other sports. From magazine covers to movies, pursuing a career in bodybuilding has been inspiring and fascinating for each athlete. But for one individual who eagerly wanted to become a football player, an unfortunate turn of events turned out to be a new path for his life’s success story.

Kali Muscle, a bodybuilder and YouTuber, always wanted to play in the National Football League (NFL). He had witnessed a lot during his early days, which changed his fate as well as his area of interest. Being a teenager, he, like most teenagers today, enjoyed junk food. Bodybuilding for him has come out very late, in his late 30’s. Unlike others in bodybuilding, the 48-year-old had no mentors.

In his recent YouTube video, Kali Muscle discussed the reasons why an athlete, or fitness freak, often attempts suicide these days. He pointed out four reasons, as titled in the video “4 reasons why bodybuilders are suicidal”, and explained in depth about these points. As for him, it has been circumstantial, and trouble was caused. The 48-year-old wished to lay it out for young aspirants and talked about the side effects of things professionals do to live heavy.

Muscle motivations initially were not rooted in the desire to become a bodybuilder. Instead, they were fueled by the hope of gracing the NFL, but the wrong guidance changed the course of action. He mentioned, ” I built the physique that looked like a bodybuilder, but that wasn’t my purpose at that moment for doing it”.

Muscle further articulated, “It was to in hopes of going to the NFL playing pro football I looked like I was on steroids that’s why when I was at Fresno State they tested me for steroids which I knew nothing about I get in trouble while I’m in college end up going to prison.
Kali Muscle had a scholarship to play football at Fresno State, but unfortunately, he was trapped in bad company after his brother died in a gang-related shooting. Kali Muscle was even arrested for robbery and sentenced to 11 years in prison. But now, the 48-year-old lives an exemplary life.
