Lee Priest is a bodybuilding figure who had an exceptional career but also a controversial one. Starting his entry into the sport at the age of 13, Priest went on to win many minor competitions as well leading up to his IFBB Mr Australia at the ages of 16,17,18 and 19. Priest has always been an open book since retiring from bodybuilding and he has reiterated his success as well as the darker sides in interviews. Priest has talked about his attempted sui**de, steroid use, and other health issues.

In one such discussion, the trajectory became hilarious when he described his anabolic episode in a YouTube short video.

In a short video by Sam’s Fitness, The Giant Killer was asked about the time when the cops had pulled him over and stopped him. The host asked, “And didn’t you get pulled over once by the police and they said ‘Oh you speeding’”

Priest laughed and answered, “And I said, I am catabolic! I was starting to fade while he was talking to me. They had to call an ambulance and fu**ing rush me home. He said ‘Don’t worry ambulance is on the way’. They got me to the hospital and gave me an amino drip just to save me.”

He was laughing throughout discussing the ordeal and said that while the cop was confronting him for speeding, he was slowly passing out. Priest also joked that his weight reduced from 260lbs to 220Lbs, as he was missing his anabolic window. He further narrated, “He’s like what’s going on? I’m like if you don’t let me go sir I’m gonna be dead in another 10 minutes!”

After years of remorseful experiences with health, and being boycotted from IFBB for his controversial statements, Priest continues to remain as jovial as he has always been. The same notion resonates in his statements asking fans to enjoy their lives as much as possible. “One little day or meal isn’t going to destroy your contest prep at all. Mentally, it could. If you’re not strong-minded, you might think, oh, God, I cheated on my diet. Physically, it’s more of a mental thing,” he had said once.
