According to the snippet shared by Swoll in his Instagram post, the man asked the girl, “What are you doing? The gym-goer replied, “My leg day warm-up.” “No, don’t think of that bullsh*t,” he exclaims. However, Swoll condemns the man for his intrusive behavior, asserting that no one has the right to speak to others in such a manner.

Swoll succinctly summarizes his stance: “A ton of people sent me this video asking me who’s right, who’s wrong. My answer, they’re both wrong.” He stresses the importance of avoiding objectification and inappropriate behavior in a shared workout space.

He emphasizes that generalizing based on one individual’s actions is unfair. Simultaneously, he critiques the girl for her choice of content creation in the gym, deeming it inappropriate. Swoll urges individuals with concerns to address gym management rather than taking matters into their own hands. In addition to his gym-positive videos, Swoll advised a fitness enthusiast to create content at home instead of the gym.

Earlier, he took to his Instagram and expressed that he wasn’t happy about someone filming themselves doing handstands in a busy gym. He pointed out how the person expected everyone to stop for them. In the gym-goers video, he said, “Count how many idiots crossed in front of the camera.” In response, Swoll stated, “I only count one in this video,” meaning the person filming.

Swoll said, “If you want to do handstands or flips, do it at home where nobody will walk through your video.” He reminded everyone that the gym isn’t owned by one person, and others shouldn’t have to change for their filming. Swoll ended by jokingly suggesting the person get matching socks.
