As per Manchester Evening News, Lorraine Blackmore is a 54-year-old lady living in the Woodley area. She has been suffering because of her weight through the years. She has been experimenting with several diet plans to lose weight. Her weight went high to a maximum of 18 stones, which is nearly 114 kgs. She decided she could not continue like this for long.
Blackmore got a new job as a secretary at a conservative club. It was after getting the job that she was stern about losing weight by March 2022. She enrolled herself in the Tameside-based slimming group – Beeweighed and started losing weight and went through a very simple diet change and got down from almost 17 and a half stone to 13 stone.

Once Lorraine lost weight, she became more confident in her skin. She says, “I’m more confident and I’m a shopaholic now, I’m always buying new clothes. It’s nice to be able to open my new wardrobe and know things will fit.” She also seems to be happier, as she has discovered the one elementary step that she has been doing wrong all this while. The key to weight loss, according to Blackmore, is not restricting yourself on what you eat.
The Re-Birth of Lorraine Blackmore
Lorraine’s new regime is treating herself to a whole cheat day every once a week. She says, “I don’t say I’m on a diet anymore. I just say I eat healthy.” She has also started taking swimming classes recently. Lorraine worked hard enough on her journey and went straight from the dress size of 20 to the size of 14 and she is content with her journey. She has absolutely given up on munching on snacks and only sticks to three meals a day. However, on her two rest days, refraining from going completely mad about losing weight.

According to her, it is always better to have something that you feel like and make up for it with another thing. Lorraine is extremely happy about her results and is now ready to embark on her new journey. She says, “I think I just got to a stage in my life where everything was hard work.”
