Intermittent fasting often works with a small eating window in a day, leaving other hours for fasting. While many fitness gurus advocate the benefits of Intermittent fasting, Dr. Israetel refuses to promote such a lifestyle. The exercise scientist’s YouTube channel, Renaissance Periodization, is a platform for critical fitness information.

In the latest short clip on the channel, the bodybuilding coach declares that Intermittent fasting doesn’t help in losing extra pounds than a regular calorie constraint. “It’s all about the calorie deficit and intermittent fasting, there’s no magic about it,” the professor highlights. Dr. Israetel also notes that people on intermittent fasting and those who eat multiple meals daily have equal health benefits. However, the exercise scientist notes how intermittent fasting is difficult for many.
