You do not build a body like Chris Bumstead without doing a rigorous exercise routine that leaves you exhausted. The bodybuilding legend has been suffering from knee pain since the 2017 Mr. Olympia. Yet, he works around his discomfort to get into the beast shape. He does not even let an autoimmune disease hinder proper nutrition and diet. He is gearing up for this year?s Mr. Olympia, which is going to happen in November.
Although no man is invincible, Chris Bumstead tries his best to reach the highest potential and train even if it drains him. In the latest video, the 4-time Mr. Olympia Classic Physique winner showed his hamstring workout and talked about the weaker points during training.

He starts the video by talking about his outlook on life and his positivity. His physique looks as good as ever, and he appreciated the moments of his life.?
CBum never compromises on his workouts, even if they are rigorous and straining. The 28-year-old bodybuilder showed his hamstring workout routine, which includes lunges. He was working out before going to Canada the next day and thought of doing his leg days before traveling. He does lunges, deadlifts, squats, and the whole lot for pumping his muscles.
Chris Bumstead also talked about his RDLs and said, ?All right, so there’s like four variations that I do for RDLS either dumbbell without touching the ground.? He also included, ?Barbell not touching the ground.”
CBum is always candid about his weaknesses. Talking about the same, he said, ?The weakest I am is when I control the stretch, don?t touch the ground, come back up. So I do less weight with a little bit less attention in my lower back.?
Chris Bumstead likes to do the coagulation process of cycling through the different exercises and does it at low intensity to keep his back safe from hurting.
With the Olympia rules altered, Bumstead might be at a disadvantage, but he is still working hard for the upcoming competitions.
Chris is defying all odds
The video by Greg Doucette shared all important updates for Olympia rules. The rule IFBB competitions changed one rule that might put Bumstead at a disadvantage. CBum is the reigning champion of the Classic Physique category and has won the title four times. He is in a meditative zone, grinding in the gym for hours.

Even after standing tall for all his competitions despite health issues, he is facing a roadblock due to the changing rules of IFBB. Earlier this month, Tyler Manion, Vice President of the IFBB Pro League, announced some changes in the height and weight system.
As per the new rules for the Men?s Classic Physique division, all bodybuilders in all height divisions will have an added advantage of 10 to 7 pounds. Bodybuilders of 6?1? or 6?2? can put on an extra 10 lbs. Previously, the taller bodybuilders had a weight and height advantage. On the other hand, short-statured bodybuilders had a weight restriction.
