The 2010s marked the ascension of Phil Heath to the Olympia throne. From 2011 to 2017, the bodybuilding icon won seven Mr. Olympia titles equalling Arnold Schwarzenegger. However, during this period, Heath faced stiff competition from one man who many believe was robbed of the Mr. Olympia title. The uncrowned Mr. Olympia Kai Greene became a fan favorite and Heath’s greatest rival. Besides muscularity and conditioning, Greene had unique posing routines.

In the era of mass monsters, when posing had taken a back seat, Greene astonished fans and judges with his incredible flexibility and mobility. A bodybuilder and a dancer, the Arnold Classic champion fused the two arts to create mesmerizing posing routines. Earlier today, the bodybuilding icon posted a video on Instagram that made fans nostalgic.

Kai didn’t disclose which show the posing video was from but five-time Arnold Classic winner Dexter Jackson was featured in it. While other bodybuilders like Jackson posed beside Kai Greene, no one could match the controlled transitions of the 47-year-old. Instead of hitting one pose after another, Greene transitioned from one pose to another, step by step.

“There are so many ways to express yourself. Whether it’s through art, music, or even bodybuilding,” Greene wrote in the caption. While transitioning into the back-double biceps pose and then to the back-lat spread, Greene moved like a robot dancer. He then turned to ward the judges and hit the abs-and-thighs pose.

The three-time Arnold Classic champion revealed he started bodybuilding to not just get an amazing physique but also to find “the best way for me to express myself.” While Grene didn’t disclose if he achieved his goal, the fans couldn’t help but admire his posing.
