However, Marc Lobliner soon decided to detach himself from the sport and once claimed that he wouldn’t sacrifice his health for bodybuilding. Despite all this, it seems he hasn’t completely separated from the sport. Lobliner’s recent video about Myo Rep training is proof of the same.

Marc Lobliner advocates Myo Rep sets

In a recent Instagram post, the bodybuilder posted a video showing himself doing Myo Rep Sets, which is a rest-pause training to stimulate muscle growth. In the video, Marc Lobliner can be seen training his arms with a few seconds’ break in between. Lobliner captioned it, “Unlocking the Power of Myo Rep Sets!”

Explaining the benefits, he wrote that Myo Reps is a high-intensity training technique that aims for muscle hypertrophy and endurance. It involves performing an initial set to near failure, followed by several shorter sets with a reduced number of reps. Lobliner, “Myo Reps stimulate muscle growth, save time, and can lead to better muscle endurance.”

 

Giving the details of his training, he advised starting with a set of 8-15 reps right up to failure. Instructing further, the bodybuilder said, “Rest for 5 breaths”. Then “perform 2-3 mini-sets of 3 reps each, with 5 breaths rest in between.” Lobliner, who is still serious about training and muscle growth, once educated his followers about the right way of weightlifting. He emphasized that instead of making excuses one should put efforts into dedicated training.

Lobliner’s Instagram post showed him engaging in weightlifting exercises with the help of a Panatta machine, which is often used to pump the biceps muscles and mass. He used four 45lbs plates to train his biceps.

Giving the details about his workout, he expressed that it was an intense exercise with heavy sets. He further talked about how Panatta machine workout contracted the muscles making one feel good. Further, he talked about how people often give excuses and complain while they undergo training. Giving suggestions to them, he said that one should dive into training without finding reasons for not doing it. You can optimize these gains of course, but most people can’t even be consistent and still worry about RIR, TUT, and other acronyms.”
