The powerhouse of the World of Strongman championships, Brian Shaw, has left the bodybuilding world in dismay by announcing his retirement. He told that his last appearance in the WSM will be this year. Although he could not be at his best because of the nasty leg infection that made him announce his retirement, he knew that he gave his 100% in the prep.

Brian Shaw also created a league where the athletes got ground to showcase their strength and physique, called the Shaw Classic. With performance not meeting up to his expectations in WSM, he has decided to end his career on a final note in the Shaw Classic that was announced to be held in the month of August this year. He says, “It’s tough to say those words, “this will be my final time,” but it’s going to be. It’s time to close this chapter of my career.”

Shaw’s unwavering passion for strength and determination has made him beat all the adversities that came his way. Even after his retirement, he is fully jacked and is prepping to give his best in the Shaw Classic one final time. He has taken on to the Internet and posted snippets from his workout regime. His fans are pumped to watch the World’s Strongest Man in the competition one last time. They have been showering him with nothing but love and support. However, some of his followers have given an ugly turn to his comment box. Let us find out how!

Fault in the rack for Brian Shaw?

Brian Shaw recently posted a video of himself training his upper back using Pritchett Pad and Fatballs. He used his own variation to bring a little twist to his training. On one hand, when his followers were there to support him in his prep, a series of comments came in that were not expected. In the video, Shaw’s squat rack happened to be shaking during his movement. This led to a huge debate in his comment box.

Watching the video, one of his fans commented, “One of the strongest men ever. Well paid. Still didn’t spend the money to mount the squat rack?!? If I’m ever in a rack that moves I’m out”. This comment was the source of the debate. All his followers were enraged and took to reply to this man who started hate posting on the 4x Strongman Champion’s video.

One of his fans, defending Shaw, said,“That’s what you got from this clip? Really?”. The best defense that Shaw got from his followers was when one of them said, “You really thought it was about the money? 😂 what? 4 bolts that cost $1 a piece and you thought this man that spends $600 a week on food was too cheap to buy them? The finest of trolls 👌”

Shaw’s take on the faulty rack

Brian Shaw himself took to the comments and said, “Certainly not about money. I just wanted to be happy with its location in my gym before I bolted it down 👍” There is definitely no reason why the World’s Strongest Man cannot afford to buy a squat rack. People like having things their own way, and this is probably Shaw’s way of keeping his gym!
