He won eight Mr. Olympia titles, affirming his unbeatable stature on the bodybuilding scene. 

The King’s after-retirement life, however, has been not so rosy. Seeking closure to a decade-long pain due to a herniated disc, Coleman underwent multiple surgeries. But as fate had it, he ended up losing his mobility due to botched procedures. His latest post, however, defies all odds as he performs leg curls at the gym.

The 8x Mr. Olympia champion never underperformed during his bodybuilding training sessions at the gym. His training during his prime included lifting heavy masses so that he could build an unparalleled physique. In 1996, during squatting around 600 lbs, Coleman dislocated one of his discs

Despite the pain, The King never sought medical attention until his retirement. Instead, he hit the gym daily to build a Mr. Olympia-winning physique and earned eight Sandow trophies by compromising on his health. Subsequently, after retirement, when he sought treatment, his condition deteriorated, and he ended up in a wheelchair. But that didn’t stop the Mr. Olympia champion from hitting the gym.

He recently posted a glimpse of his workout on his Instagram account. He was seen doing leg curls while feeling pressure. He was visibly in pain but didn’t give up till he completed his reps. Fans were in awe of the determination of the King as they saluted his grit in the comment section.

The bodybuilding world hails Ronnie Coleman as the G.O.A.T of the arena, given his unparalleled stunts at the gym and spell-bound physique onstage. The 59-year-old is only making his fans love him more by his workout sessions despite the shortcomings in his life. “Clear example of NGU ( Never Give Up),” stated a fan after witnessing Coleman’s clip.

The cornerstone of no surrender,” declared a die-hard fan impressed by the icon’s willpower. “Big Ron still got it,” wrote a bodybuilding enthusiast stunned by the clip. “The king don’t quit!” admitted a user. “He is still more shredded than most of us,” wrote a fitness enthusiast, glorying the physique of the 59-year-old.
