Whenever there is a discussion of the greatest eras of bodybuilding, the 90s also comes to the mind of most fitness enthusiasts. From illustrious conditioning to amicable rivalry on stage, the 90s era had it all. When there is talk of the 90s one can’t help but talk about legendary figures like Kevin Levrone, Chris Cormier, Lee Priest, and many others that battled it out on stage.

Recently, Cormier gave a glimpse of his most celebrated rivalry with none other than the IFBB Hall of Famer, Kevin Levrone. Despite the rivalry, there was always a cordial relationship between the two. Owing to the same reason, Cormier recalled the good old times with pure emotions.

Chris Cormier reminisces about his rivalry as the Arnold Classic nears

In a recent Instagram post, Chris Cormier shed light on his rivalry with Kevin Levrone. He uploaded a video to showcase the full-swing on-stage rivalry. Along with a video, he wrote a caption that said, “The brotherhood was real it was no more evident than @kevinlevrone and I on the road foreign and domestic ! @arnoldsports coming up made me think.

Cormier has appeared on the Olympia stage 10 times and through this post, he recalled his 8th time appearance with Levrone. Further in the caption he said, “The 10 times I competed in this competition, such a Run, such a goal set , the chase was something I’ll never forget !

Despite remarkable careers in bodybuilding, many icons could not win the Olympia. From Flex Wheeler to Chris Cormier and Kevin Levrone, many were recognized as uncrowned Mr. Olympias. In 2022, some of the uncrowned Mr. Os had a reunion of sorts.

The uncrowned legends in a single frame

Despite not being at his best health, Flex Wheeler attended the Mr. Olympia 2022 event to encourage participants. A few days after the event concluded, Wheeler posted a picture of himself with his former on-stage rivals Chris Cormier, Shawn Ray, and Kevin Levrone.

The photo of all four bodybuilders who never won a Mr. Olympia title was also accompanied by a question from Wheeler about them deserving at least one Mr. Olympia title. Commenting on the post, most fans agreed, with one even going on to say, “Again, it’s hard to believe there’s not a Mr O in this picture.”
