What are the perks of winning the Classic Physique Olympia five times in a row? For reigning champion Chris Bumstead, it’s an extended offseason filled with adventure. While his rivals Ramon Dineo, Urs Kalecinski, and others prepare to step on the Arnold Classic stage in a few weeks, CBum is enjoying this time snowboarding in the mountains.
Earlier, the soon-to-be father shared glimpses of his snowboarding adventures on Instagram. The modern-day bodybuilding icon shared two clips that might convince you that bodybuilding isn’t the only sport he has mastered. However, on the other hand, he might’ve made a bold claim as a joke. So, what did Bumstead share?

After getting a hair transplant and visiting Brazil, Chris Bumstead’s offseason adventures continue in his latest Instagram story. The King of Classic Physique posted two stories. The first clip captured a person performing a jaw-dropping snowboarding trick. The person jumps off a ramp and performs a 360-degree mid-air flip before sticking the landing.
The track had the X Games logo beside it. Chri Bumstead wrote, “That’s me btw,” in his Instagram story. He also tagged the official X Games and X Games Aspen social media handles on the post. Only elite snowboarders would be able to perform the trick that Chris Bumstead showed in the clip. So that means the Classic Physique Olyampia champion has also mastered snowboarding.
The whole thing could also be a joke on Bumstead’s part. However, we won’t know unless the champion bodybuilder clarifies that. Yet, the following clip was some action camera footage that Bumstead shot while speeding down a slope. “At peace here,” wrote CBum as he carved up the mountainside with ease. The Canadian, it seems, didn’t want to waste any time getting to the mountains after visiting Brazil.

Catching up with the biggest rival
A few days ago, the reigning Classic Physique champion shared snapshots from his trip to the land of soccer. While the bodybuilder didn’t reveal if he had any business in Brazil, there was no dearth of content with Ramon Dino. While Dino is CBum’s biggest rival on the Olympia stage, the bodybuilders are friends off-stage.
