Kali Muscle is on a mission to pull the curtain on harmful foods. The bodybuilding sensation not only shares fitness updates on social media but also recent discoveries about ingredients that one should avoid. Previously, he had brought to light how certain companies sell water with added sodium.

Now, in a push for good health for all, he has decided to talk about harmful ingredients that are present in zero-sugar drinks.

In a recent Instagram video, the bodybuilder decided to visit a convenience store. Upon entry, he directly went to the soda aisle, which was filled with different flavors of 7UP. Picking up the Classic flavor, he first went through the usual suspects, and then said, “Potassium citrate that clogs up your arteries, potassium Bizonate, it that clogs up your arteries.”

Having seen Aspartame on the list, Kali recalled an incident from when he worked at a McDonald’s. He was rather furious when he found out that Aspartame was an ingredient in the newly introduced diet soda, claiming that most people from his generation who drank soda daily had passed away. The 48-year-old also claimed that the ingredient was carcinogenic and asked his followers to research it for proof.

Kali’s Muscle says Gatorade is a no-go

Previously, the bodybuilder took his official Instagram account and shared a video on how despite the drink being a source of instant energy to athletes, Gatorade is not at all healthy. The drink has water, sugar, and citric acid. While none of these ingredients look harmful, citric acid is not acquired from natural sources such as fruit. Further, the drink also has high levels of sugar.

Kali Muscle rhetorically said, “One of the ways is from mold. They get a room full of mold and stuff and scrape it and put it in this stuff.” The energy drink also has other ingredients such as sucrose, phosphate, aerobic gum, and glycerol.
