He calls out individuals who are seen practicing toxic behavior in the gym. He is one of the most famous coaches on TikTok, and he uses his social media to post videos on fitness and training and is trying to eliminate toxic culture in gyms.
Joey Swoll is often seen thrashing people for their uncalled behavior in the shared gym spaces. However, this one recent incident brought tears to the eyes of the mostly enraged fitness coach.

Joey Swoll recently took to his official Instagram account, @joeyswoll, and shared a post narrating an incident that touched his heart as he went to train in a new gym – Gold’s Gym in Fullerton, CA. As he walked inside the gym, he met one of his followers and his wife, who were astounded to see him at the gym.

The man (Sayid) is a massive fan of the work Joey Swoll does, and he said several great things about him, which made Swoll feel immensely grateful. As they went on to work out, Sayid would come to him in between sets and talk, make jokes, and show some love to him. And as they were done with their workout, they asked for a photo, and he agreed to it with a smile.

As they were about to leave, Sayid, the follower, said, “The world needs you, Joey”. It made Swoll feel overwhelmed, and he sat down there to sink in the words. He wrote, “The way he said it was as if he could see the pain in my eyes and what I’m going through. They left and I just sat there for 5 minutes letting his words sink in. Everything hit me all at once and it overwhelmed me as tears began to roll down my face.” Well, this was exactly what he needed to hear, and he also left a message for Sayid.

Joey Swoll continued writing about how much he needed to hear what the follower had told him. And despite the fact that he had no idea about the significance of those words, somehow Sayid did. Swoll wrote, “I thought I did a great job putting a smile on to cover up my struggles and try to make others happy. I constantly have to tell myself, “It’s ok not to be ok sometimes” as I heal but it’s easier said than done.”

He thus thanked him for seeing him the way he did in the gym that morning. Joey Swoll even added that his words will have a deeper impact on him, more than he can imagine, and that he believes he was the sole reason he ended up in the gym that day.
