The veteran bodybuilder Marc Lobliner is among those few bodybuilders who could have achieved the peak, but he chose an early retirement, prioritizing his marriage and personal life. In the year 2009, he competed in the middle-weight category for 174 lbs and the lightweight category for 154 lbs. Recently, before appearing in the New York Pro, he posted a picture of himself. He looked shredded, while the veins coursing through his muscles exhibited his muscularity, however, talking to his audience he says in that picture he weighed 220 lbs (100 kg). 

A few months back Marc came into the spotlight as the CEO of MTS Nutrition, when he was talking about the usage of steroids among young bodybuilders. Steroid usage has always been a hot topic of debate when it comes to the realm of bodybuilding. Hence, Tren is a Performance Enhancing Drug (PED) recently being floated as a workout routine among fellow bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts. 

Marc Lobliner’s take on the usage of Tren

Lobliner shared an Instagram post on the usage of Tren and the side effects of PEDs like it. In that video, he expounded on the topic of teenagers being victims, leading to fatal diseases starting from cardiovascular problems to irreversible high blood pressure, depression, and anxiety. Moreover, Marc commences the video by saying, “My fear is this new generation of tren. Like we have this instant gratification Tren generation.”

Lobliner goes on to say, “You see these kids posting videos of them being on Tren. These kids are getting such good results with great genetics like the Tren twins, Sam guy, that it’s just gonna have kids who don’t have those genetics.” With his short and crisp brief of this PED, we can assume the number of fitness influencers and bodybuilders consuming Tren and they are very vocal about it. While concluding the video, he says, Taking risks that aren’t worth it.”

The most recent incident knocked back the career of Larry Wheels, a prominent name in strength sports like powerlifting, bodybuilding, arm wrestling, and so on. Due to overconsumption of Tren, he was diagnosed with Rhabdo, a disease that can lead to kidney damage. The 28-YO athlete made a world record in 2020 by squatting, bench pressing, and deadlifting, altogether 2370 pounds. He embarked on taking steroids at the early age of 17. Though now he is back to his normal life. Nevertheless, Tren has bestowed him with eternal anxiety.

Marc disagreed with Dorian Yates on the hot debate about steroids

The IFBB Pro bodybuilder, Lobliner is in accord with the bodybuilding sport’s direction. The sport has evolved from prioritizing muscular physiques to the balanced and aesthetic bodies of bodybuilders. Moreover, he dissented from Dorian Yates’s viewpoint that old-age bodybuilders like Arnold Schwarzenegger, Ronnie Coleman, and so forth did not consume much steroids in comparison with modern-day athletes.

The 42-YO retired bodybuilder quoted in response, “LOL Wrong. They took so many drugs back then. Handfuls of dbol, grams of Primo, and other drugs. They didn’t even measure, just injected whatever.” What is your point of view? Do comment below.
