In the history of bodybuilding, many outstanding bodybuilders had left their legacies. The bright side of the industry does leave scope for the former champions to guide the upcoming generation.

To fulfill that, IFBB pro, Lee Priest, reveals brief exercise guidelines that Arnold Schwarzenegger used for his triceps. Through his demonstrations, Priest intended to divulge one of Schwarzenegger’s most-followed tricep training methods. Thus, he deliberately makes an effort to let his viewers have a gist of it.

Lee Priest unveils Arnold’s favorite tricep training routine

In a recent video posted by IFBB AMA, the 2013 Mr. Universe, Priest has been reported to give tips on how to build triceps like the seven-time Mr. Olympia winner Schwarzenegger himself. He remarks that for Long Head and Lateral Head triceps, “To you, I say stop overthinking it. Just train your tricep. Don’t get so specific.” He suggests that bodybuilders work on their whole chests and when they get it done over the years, then only they should go into specifics.

While demonstrating, Lee shows his audience, “It’s almost like if you’re laying on a bench. And you’re doing barbells at ahead, instead of going bar build it ahead, you’re going under the bar.” He further mentions both arms must stay parallel to each other, and closer in, instead of spread out unevenly.

He minutely explains as he does the exercise himself, “So put your hands a little bit wide. And you keep your elbows in… going down and up get a blood rush to the head… when I’m finished doing that, I then bring my hands in close, and go straight in the close grip chest, down to your hand.”

Near the end of the video, Lee Priest briefly talks about foods to avoid right before such training. He readily gives his own experience to make the viewers better understand.

Lee Priest’s suggestion of food intake before exercises

As the 51-year-old Bodybuilder, Lee, confesses to having a milkshake right before hitting the intense training, he recommends not to have them. Moreover, he remarks, “There’s actually a big smoothie, but too much ice cream is sitting heavy. Hard to breathe.” His real-time visible trouble really sends the message of the necessity of avoiding those before heavy workouts.
