In his latest Newsletter, Schwarzenegger went out of their usual content type and focused on his 99-year-old Ukranian Pump Member, Nick Hope. Nick had changed his name to Hope after he left his country and came to America. In the journey of his life, he had lost his brothers during Holodomor when Stalin was in power and forced Ukrainians to starve. Hope further met with the unfortunate Holocaust and was starved again. Weighing only 80 pounds he survived after seeking help from Allied soldiers.

Arnold Schwarzenegger thus decided to showcase the wisdom of Hope instead of his usual Question and Answer sessions. He also called the 99-year-old Hope a hero. He stated, “Today, at 99, Nick is not only still training, but he is a hero.”
