The most decorated championship in the world of bodybuilding concluded in November 2023. Just as was seen in the last few years, Chris Bumstead once again became the winner of the Classic Physique category at the Mr. Olympia. Having overcome not only his competitors but also a bunch of personal and physical setbacks, this win indeed was one of the biggest benchmarks in his career.

Having won the Mr. Olympia, he is all set to take back another title for the next year. However, he has lately been enjoying a prolonged off-season before his baby is born. Looks like he did indeed have one hell of a vacation this year in the mountains!

Chris Bumstead, widely regarded as CBum, recently took to his official Instagram account and shared a series of photos and videos from his vacation dump. He captioned it, Survived another trip to the mountain with no broken bones” In the first picture, he was standing while holding his ski board, while the second one was a video of him skiing in the snow.

The next one in the carousel was a very loving photograph with his wife, Courtney King, followed by a picture from their lunch date. CBum even posted a few pictures from the X-Games that he went to watch with his wife, and showcased the time he spent with his friends as well.

It was a kaleidoscopic vacation for him, and the happiness on his face is a standing testament to it. However, the vacation was not only fun and games for the champion. Chris Bumstead even managed to create a new record on his vacation while having a good long session of skiing.

Just a few days ago, Chris Bumstead shared a story on his Instagram account. The picture was candid of him skiing on the snow with a serene amount of sunlight. In the photo, he flexed his record. According to CBum, he skied at a speed of 51.4 mph, going up to an altitude of 11,234 ft. He even shared his tallest and longest runs of the season, which were 3303 ft and 2.9 mi respectively.

This was indeed a great achievement for Bumstead outside the gym, displaying the level of fitness he has even when he was not following his diet and regular routines. Being excited to share the record with his followers, he wrote, “Hit some zoomies today.” Well, last year did give him a lot of joy, and if things go according to plan, this year might proceed along the same lines, with him already enjoying the first month to its fullest.
