The Pump Club talked about the necessity of taking down 3 simple goals daily so one can achieve them easily being content. Instead of making big plans, which sometimes seem overwhelming to many people, one should always opt for creating small targets so that success comes easily. Arnold believes, Success creates more success.”

Giving a perfect example, he said that if one successfully completes 5,000 steps a day and now is willing to walk 10,000, start with a smaller goal by taking a resolution to cover  7,500 steps a day. The newsletter further suggested that avoid being blind believers of diets and workouts, that claim to drive results in just a few weeks. It’s tempting, but it’s a trap. Apart from spreading awareness about fitness in the newsletter, the Austrian Oak offered a dedicated app called the Pump app, which gives constant support to people to make a strong eating and workout regimen. It gives the flexibility of interacting with the experts and asking them questions.

The Pump Club further talked about how a culture of overeating is prevalent in society. According to research, it has been witnessed that people who are stressed out are likely to eat more food than their bodies require. To tackle stressful situations, people often end up eating fat and sugar-loaded food as the higher level of stress tells the mind the body’s requirement for food is not fulfilled. To deal with this situation, the newsletter talked about training the brain to go for healthy food options that contain protein, adding more fiber to the diet, and of course, no need to remove dessert from the diet. Make a balance of everything without too much reliance.
