Nick Walker was supposed to compete in Mr Olympia 2023 but unfortunately, he hurt his hamstring at the last moment and lost the opportunity. The bodybuilding?pro?s leg was badly bruised and even though The Mutant pushed himself to train, it was hard for him to commute without a wheelchair. However, he did not give up and showed up at the Expo before the competition. Everyone was impressed and veteran coaches cheered for him as he interacted with fans.

Nick Walker is also not stopping his prep and training just because of an injury. In the latest video titled, NICK WALKER | ROAD TO RECOVERY | CHEST AND BICEP WORKOUT!, he shows his workout and how he navigates his prep with the hamstring injury. Nick Walker talks about his bicep workout

Walker is not a person who gives up easily and even after a teary-eyed confession about his injury and not being able to compete, he is back to training. The latest video is about his chest and bicep workout that he has taken after inspiration from Dorian Yates.

The high-intensity workout consisted of chest, bicep, triceps, and back exercises. He is taking breaks between the exercises and said, ?Kind of like Dorian Yates we?re gonna keep it that style just more RP style with nice slow pauses contract hard to the top.?

He has seen that this workout was working best for him and in his word could have made him Mr Olympia. He not only was confident of winning but he also took a stand for himself after people started criticizing him for the injury.

Nick Walker takes a stand

In this same video, he aimed to clarify?that he was determined to get fit and was on the road to recovery. Even during this injury, he never stopped working out. The 29-year-old bodybuilder said,??So you guys know, I train pretty much still like RP strength and now I?ve read some comments. That is certainly not why I got injured.??

He also continued directly and said,”No one trains the way I train you know, not to be a d*ck but no one has that control, it?s just that you don?t see it. Freak accident, you know I mean, it literally could have happened to anyone.?
