One of the primary things stated by Greg Doucette on the list was avoiding any sort of high-intensity cardio. According to him, it puts a serious toll on the body, which takes time to recover from. Thus, he advises doing Zine 2 cardio, which will not cause any unwanted stress to the body. He says, “So if you’re trying to do cardio and you’re trying to build muscle at the same time. You’re perhaps trying to burn fat. Much better to stick with zone 2 cardio than doing HIIT interval or any form of intense cardio”.

Greg Doucette is not in favor of bulking
Greg Doucette goes on to point out how most of the people in the world are already bulked. This is because the vast majority of people have a fat percentage of 20%, which is the maximum that is required for the process. He says, “So bulking when you are already bulked, is useless”. It works efficiently only when the body fat percentage is in the single digits. Well, similar is the process of losing fat.

The IFBB Pro coach even points out how people rush when they are in the cutting phase. They wish to lose an unimaginable amount of weight in a certain period. However, that leads to a calorie deficit in the body, making it difficult to build muscles. The key here is to diet slowly to drop into a very small calorie deficit.
He added more important points like refraining from ego lifting and missing supplements which people often do during their transformation journey.
