Fitness icon Kali Muscle has managed to garner over 3.5 million subscribers on his YouTube channel. Having suffered a heart attack two times, because of his unhealthy habits in the past, he has recently gained prominence for taking up fruit-only diets in an attempt to transform his lifestyle. Apart from that, he also focuses on demonstrating his bodybuilding journey with limited equipment.
Despite having many supporters for his diet and fitness tips, Muscle also gets a lot of flak at times as well. One such incident occurred recently when he was explaining the presence of sodium in water. The fitness influencer stating the obvious did not sit well with fans.
Kali Muscle reveals that sodium content in water made him puffy

Kali Muscle recently took to his Instagram account and shared a video where he was seen criticizing bottled water at the store. Taking a bottle in his hand, the fitness influencer went on to comment that many chose this because it came cheap. Reading the label on the bottle, Muslce revealed that it contained close to 55 mg of sodium.

According to him, he started getting retained in water and was puffy in his ankles and feet after consuming it. It was only later that he realized that this was because of sodium. “Why does out water have sodium?” he questioned. According to him, water was not supposed to have sodium and they were adding it separately. “So be careful what you drink,” he cautioned his fans. Further, he went about warning people to be aware and check out what they are drinking.

However, this did not come across as a very concerning cause to his followers. They took the opportunity and bashed him for creating content that was supposedly unnecessary.

The fitness community dismisses Kali Muscle’s opinion
Many went on to troll Kali Muscle for his latest post. They left comments like, “5mg of salt is nothing…it’s an electrolyte and naturally occurring! You should be worried about the plastic bottle not the 5 mugs of sodium” and “Lmao you cannot be serious, nobody should take these videos seriously”.

One of them simply called out his page and wrote, “Starting to be a f**king comedy page.” Another hilariously hinted at how Muscle was not saying something new and wrote, “Tomorrow: I just discovered air got all this nasty pollution in it.” One of them, taking to the fact that he was accused of using ster**ds in the past, even went on to say that this was the reason behind him being puffy. “Really? Thats the reason you were “puffy” ?” they asked while adding some syringe emoticons signifying PED usage.
