Bodybuilding GOAT Arnold Schwarzenegger might have played some of the most dangerous men on screen but he is known to be a prankster on set. Arnie is known to prank his costars and friends in a lighthearted way but every once in a while these things come back to haunt you. The same happened with Arnie when his costar Danny DeVito decided to prank the Terminator on the set of Twins and made him forget his lines. 

And yes, the story of how it all unfolded between the two is as hilarious as you can imagine.

‎When Danny DeVito made Arnold forget his line

Arnold has never been shy about a little mar*****na. He’s even talked about working out high with Tommy Chong himself. But never did he ever imagine that he would be smoking blunts on the sets of a film. Unfortunately for Arnie, and of course the director of the film, Danny DeVito had different plans.  

In the True or False segment on the Rich Eisen Show, Arnie was asked if there was any truth to the story of him having inadvertently smoked a cigar spiked with mar***ana given to him by Danny DeVito. The Austrian Oak immediately testified to the authenticity of the stor. “He did it to me what I normally do to people so he just turned it around. And that son of a b** got me to fall for it.” But how did DeVito pull that up?

It turns out DeVito had told him that he had made pasta for lunch, so they both went into the trailer and had pasta for lunch. After that, his friend also offered him Italian cheesecake which he graciously took along with espresso. Finally, DeVito came out with his prank and handed Schwarzenegger with a Montecristo number two stogie. And there we go!

Now if anyone knows anything about Arnie, it’s that he likes a good cigar. And since DeVito knew this, he had replaced the tobacco inside the cigar with ma***na, and after smoking it, Arnie forgot every single line of the script. All in all, it was a hilarious incident, and even while listening to it, the host was laughing uncontrollably.

But if you are thinking, Oh, poor Arnie, wait till you find out about The Terminator’s pranks on people!

Arnold plays a prank on his fans

One of the most iconic lines from any of the movies that the bodybuilding champion has done is, “I’ll be back” from Terminator. In 2015 Arnie came back to reprise his role as the T-800 in Terminator Genesys. However, he decided to play a prank before the film premiered, and he dressed up as the real Terminator and replaced his wax statue at Madame Tussaud’s wax museum. As unsuspecting fans excitedly posted along with the statue, Arnold came to life and freaked them out.  

Pranking people with ma****na is not a new concept in Hollywood. In an episode of Graham Orton, Mark Ruffalo once spoke about the time he was on stage and one of the newer actors had replaced his fake blunt with a real one and he had to smoke it in front of the crowd while performing on stage.

Of course, Ruffalo was an experienced smoker at the time but unfortunately his co-star on stage, who he had to share the blunt with, was not! As you can imagine, it was the best show they ever did, or at least they would like to think so!
