When bodybuilding and powerlifting are considered, most people deal with heavy weights which, if malfunctions, can lead to extreme misfortune, so much so, that it has been proven to be life-threatening.

The Dutch weightlifter Marlous Schuilwerve is a fitness influencer. The internet sensation mostly shares her powerlifting and fitness content on her Instagram and thus motivates thousands of his fans by updating them about her routines and training.

Marlous Schuilwerve shares a scary mishap video

In her recent Instagram reel, Marlous reveals a horrific portrayal of an unfortunate accident. In the video, she is seen lifting, while suddenly the barbell slips and falls on her neck. It readily makes her crash forward. The entire scene happens within a couple of seconds and looks quite grotesque. However, the powerlifter confirms to be okay. She writes in the caption, “Not pictured: me yelling at a child to sit still ??It?s okay I got the next one ??”.

After posting the video when Marlous reflected on the numerous fans’ worries, she declared her health update in a comment. She writes, “Thanks everyone ?? I?m actually doing fine – just a bit stiff, but I survived ?”

The unfortunate incidents deliberately cause a stir among fans. Their extreme shock at the scene compelled many to come forward and express their concern and send recovering wishes to Schuilwerve.

One of the fans reminded them of Justyn Vicky, who recently died from a similar mishap. They say,?“Someone literally just died from something very similar to this. Broke their neck and boom.”?While another fan points out,?“A for effort, hope your ok dust your self off you got that”. Fans are mostly concerned, however, they say,?“I gasped watching this, and my doggo sleeping woke up concerned! I hope you are okay!!!”.

Furthermore, someone also mentions the lack of Spotter and guidance has led it to this.?“I hope for your recovery. Please be careful in future, and consider having spotters.”?Last but not least, another fan was spotted to say,?“Wow that would hurt ?. Good on the girl though snatching is hard”.

A similar mistake had already taken lives before. It is high time that fitness enthusiasts understand the gravity of their wrong choices. As the video attested, no spotter had been near Marlous, and no one even came to help her as long as the video ran. Negligence can often lead to something unimaginable.
