The bodybuilding world recently received the saddening news about the passing of Shaw’s friend Jeff, a local videographer who collaborated with numerous renowned bodybuilding figures. Shaw wrote in her post, “Today I received the news that my local videographer and friend has earned his heavenly wings 💔 I will always love you Jeff. Going to miss all the laughs we had filming and our chats, buddy. May you rest in peace.” This tragic event deeply affected everyone in the community, leading influential personalities to express their support for the 39-year-old athlete.

Among them, 10x Ms. Olympia, Iris Kyle, expressed her heartfelt condolences through a touching message. She wrote, “It’s with complete sadness to hear about the loss of your dear friend. Please accept my heartfelt condolences during this incredibly difficult time.” Dusty Hanshaw, an IFBB professional bodybuilder, shared his love and support. He penned, “Much love to him and his fam! One of the first guys I worked with. Such a good man.”

IFBB Figure Pro Crystal Cooper, who expressed her remorse at not being able to shoot with Jeff as planned, echoed this sentiment. She wrote, “Oh no! We were planning on shooting together soon. I’m so sorry for your loss. I know he was a great friend. Prayers for his family.” Donna Williams Salib, the 2022 New York Pro Champion, reached out to Shaw, offering her condolences. She said, “So sorry for your loss, sis. Praying for you – memory eternal.”
