The Quad Father stunned everyone with his monstrous lower body development. The 68-year-old credits it to his intensive squatting regime. But Quadzilla’s love for training started in the basement of his house at 9. His father would read out workouts to the Golden Eagle, and his siblings would count his repetitions. Now, the person who encouraged Platz’s love for bodybuilding passed away at 90.

Taking to his Instagram, Platz revealed, “Earlier today, my Dad began his Journey to speak with God,” and requested, “Please. Let’s celebrate his long life!” Listing out his father’s achievements, Platz noted, “He had only two careers.

Despite the sad loss, Platz is his happy to share a great bond with father for over six decades. “I spoke at his retirement banquet and still have his gold pocketwatch,” the Golden Eagle added in his post, sharing a recent picture of him with his father. Fans poured condolences and paid respect to the deceased soul.
