In his latest post, the 60-year-old emphasizes that belt squats provide an excellent option for gymgoers. This movement involves using a specialized belt attached to a cable or machine. It also helps people to perform squats without the need for a barbell or weights on their shoulders. This modification not only reduces stress on the lower back but also allows for a more controlled and targeted leg workout.

 

He mentioned its potential benefits in the caption, “Belt squats are great to hit overall legs and glutes with less stress on the lower back. Great feel to hit legs and quads without issues with your lower back.” He suggested that this alternative is particularly crucial for individuals facing issues with their lower back.
