The owner of Metroflex Gym offered him a free membership, while the chief of police encouraged him to work out. But most of all, one woman stood tall and safeguarded his success.

Earlier, in a post on Instagram, the 8-time Mr. Olympia winner updated fans about his tasty meal, but it also made Ronnie remember a significant person in his life.

The 26-time IFBB pro title winner appreciated his wife, Susan, for serving him a savory meal of fish and fries. Although not the one to click pictures of food like vloggers, the strength athlete could not help but appreciate the taste. In a heartwarming segue, he spoke about how important home-cooked food is.

The 59-year-old reflected on the memories he had attached with eating at home.

He also revealed how the dish reminded him of his mother. “I tell you guys, ain’t nothing like a well-cooked meal. Susan, you put yo foot in this one, as you say my mama use to do. Yeah buddy,” wrote Coleman in the caption.

Ronnie Coleman‘s mother played a pivotal role in his life. In an interview with Generation Iron, Coleman spoke about his family. There, he reminisced about how his mom used to cook all his food. Naturally, he was heartbroken when his mother passed away in 2017.

An extremely emotional son paid homage to his parent’s legacy in an Instagram post when the incident occurred six years ago. His mom’s demise was shocking news for the fitness icon. Other family members of Coleman also made life easier for the busy cop and bodybuilding legend. Those beautiful relationships were his real trophies. 

Family was a constant support for Coleman

The host of Generation Iron interview asked the 59-year-old if it was easy to juggle family with his various commitments. The mass monster answered in the affirmative.

He said, “I think the reason why is my family supported me like 100%.” Further, the 8-time Mr. Olympia revealed, “I mean, they were there, you know, doing everything for me. They helped clean my house, clean my cars.”

Moreover, Coleman’s sister helped him answer fan mail and sell merchandise. Not only this, they were cheering him on the stage throughout his career. “My first show till I retired. They were all there,” revealed the gigantic former Mr. Universe (1991).

Thus, the family of 8x  was instrumental in his success. Apart from helping the King with his housework, they remained pillars of strength and emotional support on the arduous journey to fame.
