In the sport of bodybuilding, having a magnificent physique is like a trophy. While maintaining the stature becomes quite strenuous to some, champions like Dorian Yates made a streak of six consecutive triumphs for the title of Mr. Olympia. Even though the English bodybuilder retired in 1997, he continues to be a role model for millions.

Dorian Yates’ best physique presentation

Reminiscing on a studio shot taken right before his 1995 Mr. Olympia Contest, Yates published the mesmerizing photo that captured one of his best forms. He considers it equally well built, like his 1993 form.“Throwback to 1995, arguably my best physique ever presented along with 93 in my opinion.”

Remembering his Heydays in the bodybuilding world, Yates is reportedly proud of his career. No one can ever question his capabilities after attesting to his 15 major contest wins in the last 5 years of his career. In the post, he also casts light upon Joe Weider, who had a great presence throughout his career.

Joe Weider, the co-founder of the International Federation of BodyBuilders (IFBB), didn’t fit Yates’ description of a trainer. Albeit Weider had claimed to be one, Yates dismisses his assertions by saying, “Joe claimed to be a trainer of champions but really, he was a magazine publisher who did a phenomenal job of promoting bodybuilding to the world and making it popular, but a trainer he wasn’t. In fact, Joe didn’t really like the fact that I promoted high intensity training!”

Both bodybuilding entities are of paramount significance in their industry. However, they differed starkly in their opinions about the better pathway to accomplishment. While Yates believed in intensive approaches, Weider had quite opposing thoughts about it.
