Entrepreneur turned bodybuilder Marc Lobliner got his much anticipated pro card back in December 2021 at the 2021 Muscle Contest Masters USA. However, he has been working on his physique in silence, away from competitive bodybuilding. After more than 15 months away from the stage, he was looking for the perfect moment to make his pro debut.

Finally, he stepped on the pro stage for the first time in his life when he participated in the New York Pro Show, which was held back in May 2023. Competing under the 212 division, Lobliner was shredded to bones but simply did not have the size required to be in the division. In his recent Instagram post, he looks back at his physique from the show and analyzed where he went wrong during the preparation for the contest.

212 Division in bodybuilding is one of the most recent additions to the sport. Introduced in 2011 by IFBB, as the name suggests, the participants in this category can’t weigh more than 212 lbs on the day of their weigh-ins. This category is specifically for short-stature bodybuilders. Unfortunately, making his first pro appearance at the New York Pro show, Lobliner could not finish in the top ten. In his recent Instagram post, he uploaded a pic of himself and accepted that he was ripped but was too small for the stage.

He wrote, “Looking back, we did get pretty diced for the New York Pro, just too small…The judges were right and I had an awakening to what it takes to be a pro. Shout out to @theebostonmass for helping to bring me in the best shape ever to earn my pro card and do this pro debut thing!”

Then you see this and realise what diced/shredded actually is,” while another comment read, “Amazing, regardless of size, amazing.”
